Wineries
We don’t claim to have the talents of Charlie Parker or the nose of Robert Parker, but we know what gives us passion and our passion is to discover the talents of boutique, family-owned wineries whose passion is creating wine we want to bring home and savor. You won’t find these on the big, commercial wine tours, and since snoodling them out is time intensive, you’ll want to return to this page over and over to discover our new finds.
Zin Alley Winery
Winery, Templeton

If you love Gruene, Texas, you’ll want to visit Zin Alley just for the ambience. But, it doesn’t stop there. Frank Nerelli’s down-to-earth passion for making elegant Zinfandel his way since the 1970’s is a gold find. And…he makes a port that’s an elixir for the gods. Frank has no interest in competitions or hob-snobbin’. He just wants to make wine. In the future, Zin Alley’s wine will only be available through its wine club, so be sure to stop by on your trip through 46 West.
