Four years ago, soon after moving to the Central Coast from southern California in order to live a more serene life and to begin Gailee’s dream of creating an Ashland/Sundance Institute destination place for those passionate about theatre and film, we began meeting artisans, local farmers, boutique wine makers, weavers, cheese makers, bakers – a community rich in passion for art, the land, food, music – all that makes our Central Coast a paradise to visit or, for those of us lucky enough to call this home, to live.
We also began to realize that those who have lived here their whole lives often don’t know about the treasures that are created by their neighbors and that those who visit don’t have a way of knowing what they dare not miss if they wish to experience The Best of The Best of the Central Coast that they cannot find anywhere else.
We created www.centralcoasting.com to showcase what we believe to be the best in art, entertainment, shopping, places to stay and visit, restaurants, and wineries you might miss – but shouldn’t! We encourage those who live here to support our local farmers, artisans, arts and events. They are what makes the Central Coast a treasure. We invite those who come to visit to experience all that makes our home a paradise. Soon we’ll be featuring webshows hosted by local experts in food, health, “how to”, and other programs that enrich our lives. Stay tuned!
